Aribtrators to join forces with Chinese

The Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators Australia has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Shenzhen Arbitration Commission. The agreement signed involves joint activities including the training of Chinese arbitrators in the adversarial system by Australian arbitrators in China.
"This is part of a China initiative the Institute has pursued in light of the China-Australia FTA and will benefit commercial entitities doing business in China", said IAMA President, Tim Sullivan.
The Memorandum of Cooperation involves joint activities including research & development programs and professional training. It includes exploration of joint prospects, conferences, forums, publications, exchange of information, educational material, the exchange of expertise, and co-arbitrations and co-mediations.
