Ruddock says mediators in demand
Australian Legal Business Magazine - 3 Dec 2005

Attorney General Philip Ruddock has said that the new industrial relations reforms will increase the demand for mediators.
He told the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators that the reforms "mean voluntary alternative dispute techniques - or ADR - will become central to workplace relations practice".
The government has been running a pilot scheme in Victoria since May this year offering free mediation services to small businesses for workplace disputes.
